This needlepoint set of outfits for Santa and Mrs. Claus was made for me by an old friend, Mrs. P. She took great pleasure in crafting, and every year, she gave me handmade Christmas ornaments—some needlepoint, some made of carefully quilled and folded paper. Each garment in this set of North Pole apparel has a loop so it can be hung on the tree, but I usually hang mine in front of the fireplace. Mrs. P died many years ago, but I remember her every year when I take her handmade ornaments out of their tissue paper and hang them in my home, as I have been doing for over 40 years.
